At present it alternates between:
1. A link to new art—my own or other artists’ work.
2. A new episode of my Egyptian Tales—entertaining short stories about our years living in Egypt. Pictures are included if I have something suitable! These have a growing fan club!
3. For an upcoming workshop, book news or new art prints, you’ll get a specific, separate notice.
Helpful feedback is welcome, especially on your area of interest that finds resonance with this website. However, Trolls will meet the Big Billy Goat Gruff at the bridge to be permanently butted off.
Here are some things you may want know . . .
No, I won’t be firing stuff into your inbox every few days! (Unless I have urgent news.) Yes, there will be an ‘unsubscribe option’ on blogs or sales communications if you change your mind. And no, I don’t share your emails to me with third parties.
I send a link to the blog, not the blog itself. Emails sent to a lot of people at once get subjected to the algorithms created to weed out spam. To avoid my blog getting dumped, you get a link to the current blog on a Subscriber’s Only page on this website. I like pictures and assume you do too or your wouldn’t be interested in my site! My blogs are often image-rich and those algorithms are also designed to send such things to your spam folder or block them altogether because they think the pictures are advertisements. Similarly, an algorithm decides an email containing multiple links may be part of an advertising campaign too. Hence the single ‘click’ to access my latest blog from the email notification.
